Navigating Post-pandemic Global Touring

Having a concert overseas is an important bridgehead for entering the global market. With the current pandemic situation getting better, experts in each area will tell you how the preparation processes and environment with regard to holding a concert overseas have now changed since the pandemic and will provide opportunities to establish a strategy to make a concert successful.

  • Priya Dewan


    With 18+ years of industry experience, the last 10 of which working in the APAC markets, Priya Dewan founded Gig Life Pro to utilize her broad network and knowledge of the global music business to help the music industry grow their business globally.
    Prior to returning to Asia, Priya spent 8+ years in New York, eventually running UK-based Warp Records for North America where she was recognized as Billboard’s 30 Under 30 Power Players. She was recognized again in 2021 and 2022 by Billboard as an International Power Player. Priya returned to Singapore in 2011 to launch her booking agency Feedback Asia, touring artists like CHVRCHES, Flying Lotus, James Blake, Yuna, Bicep and others across the region.
    Most recently, Priya served as VP of International Marketing APAC and MD of Southeast Asia and South Korea for The Orchard, where she was responsible for signing and managing The Orchard’s priority labels and artists in the region, including BTS (KR), JYP Entertainment (KR), DPR (KR), James Reid (PH), MTP-E (VN), Shigga Shay (SG) and more. She has facilitated or spoken on conference panels at All That Matters (Singapore), MU:CON (Seoul), EMC (Syd), GMAs (Taipei), Sound of the Xity (Beijing), Primavera Pro (Barcelona), CMJ (New York), SXSW (Austin).

    Universally recognized as one of the industry’s most successful music agents, Windish is currently an agent and head of A&R at Wasserman Music. The agency looks after the careers of hundreds of artists including Coldplay, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons and many more.

  • Guillaume Pichois

    Hello, My name is Guillaume Pichois, I was born and raised in Paris. From an early age I was drawn to music but it’s only when I turned 20 and went to study Business in Rennes (France) and Montreal (Canada) that I realised I wanted to, actually, work in music. I had found my “element” while at university: I got involved in writing for fanzines, playing (really bad bass) in bands, getting some experience promoting shows and working at music festivals like Mutek and Transmusicales.
    With a friend I also ran a small independent record label called Peter I’m Flying. We didn’t fly very far.
    In 2002 I moved to London and started building my music network from scratch. I also started scouting for V2 whilst doing a day job in academic publishing. I started managing artists in 2007 and from that moment on, I never looked back. I left my job in publishing, took the plunge and founded Kayak Music Management, a talent agency. Over the years we have worked with Mercury Prize nominated artists, producers, mixers and singer-songwriters, helping them build successful and sustainable careers.
    I got introduced to HONNE in 2014, before they had put out any music. I was hooked by their demos. We’ve been able to go from selling out their first London show (180 cap) to arenas in Asia and reaching platinum status in multiple countries in the space of 8 years. I am incredibly happy and honoured to have been working with them from the beginning - it’s been a fantastic journey that continues to keep us all as enthralled as day one. We are very grateful for all the amazing HONNE fans throughout the world, without them we wouldn’t be here today.

    Sam Rogers is a Melbourne-based tour promoter and booking agent at The Mushroom Group.
    Currently promoting tours for international artists such as Joey Bada$$, Pavement, Clinton Kane, Dry Cleaning + more. He is also the domestic booking agent for ARIA award winning Australian artists Bliss n Eso and Conrad Sewell.
    Prior to joining The Mushroom Group, Sam was a booking agent at global talent agency WME.
    Since the Group’s inception in ‘72 when a young Michael Gudinski formed Mushroom Records and Mushroom Music Publishing, Mushroom has grown into an iconic independent force. The Mushroom Group now incorporates international and domestic touring, booking agencies, artist and talent management, record labels, music publishing, merchandising, creative and marketing services, venues, exhibition and event production, film and podcast production and more.
