Build a fanbase with your Content

Having contents that can engage and entertain public audiences from diverse cultural backgrounds and circumstances is the key element for a global artist.
This workshop provides a chance to learn the expertise and strategies to obtain contents that can make it possible to establish a global fandom base.

  • Priya Dewan

    Moderator

    With 18+ years of industry experience, the last 10 of which working in the APAC markets, Priya Dewan founded Gig Life Pro to utilize her broad network and knowledge of the global music business to help the music industry grow their business globally. Prior to returning to Asia, Priya spent 8+ years in New York, eventually running UK-based Warp Records for North America where she was recognized as Billboard’s 30 Under 30 Power Players. She was recognized again in 2021 and 2022 by Billboard as an International Power Player.
    Priya returned to Singapore in 2011 to launch her booking agency Feedback Asia, touring artists like CHVRCHES, Flying Lotus, James Blake, Yuna, Bicep and others across the region. Most recently, Priya served as VP of International Marketing APAC and MD of Southeast Asia and South Korea for The Orchard, where she was responsible for signing and managing The Orchard’s priority labels and artists in the region, including BTS (KR), JYP Entertainment (KR), DPR (KR), James Reid (PH), MTP-E (VN), Shigga Shay (SG) and more.
    She has facilitated or spoken on conference panels at All That Matters (Singapore), MU:CON (Seoul), EMC (Syd), GMAs (Taipei), Sound of the Xity (Beijing), Primavera Pro (Barcelona), CMJ (New York), SXSW (Austin).

    Tricia Arnold is the SVP, Global Label Management and Sales at The Orchard, the industry’s leading global music distributor and artist & label services company operating in 45 markets worldwide. She oversees The Orchard’s sales and label management teams outside of North America, driving global release strategy and envisioning and enacting processes to drive The Orchard's value proposition worldwide.
    Since joining The Orchard in 2012, Arnold has worked across different departments at The Orchard, retaining and enhancing expertise in international growth.
    Prior to working with The Orchard, she started her career at Rydkodisc International and then helped launch ADA Global across Europe. Today, Arnold’s teams work across hundreds of big hitter releases for The Orchard including Jorja Smith, Kelsea Ballerini, Jason Isbell and the 400 unit, Latin, K-pop priorities, and more.

  • Malfi Dorantes

    Malfi Dorantes began her career in the music industry 14 years ago as a photographer, journalist, producer, and music curator. In 2012, she started the media and public relations agency MalfiCo, becoming one of the first Mexican women dedicated to the promotion of independent music.
    MalfiCo is also in charge of the Media Partnerships for EDC Mexico and Corona Capital GDL festivals together with OCESA.
    Malfi is also a university professor and advisor to the industry brands ChileMúsica, Music Norway, Export Music Sweden, and Music Finland and has also participated as a speaker at festivals such as: By:Larm, Eurosonic and Selector Pro, fostering international relations to spread the importance of the music industry in Mexico.

    Matt Felici oversees marketing and international operations at Tencent Music/Sony Music joint venture dance label, Liquid State. Having joined as its first employee in 2018, Felici has overseen the launch of a label that has amassed in excess of 8 billion streams since its inception, with releases from the likes of Alan Walker, Alesso, R3HAB, Stray Kids, Jolin Tsai, Monsta X and CORSAK plus many more.
