Lee Joo Young is a singer-songwriter and a talented multi-instrumentalist with a background of classical music, including marimba, timpani, piano, drum and guitar. Her music can be described as a blend of indie-pop and ballad.

Critics described her as “A true successor of Korean balladeer” and “An Iconic musician”. She is also often called as ‘a musician of indie musicians'.

Both of her albums were nominated for the Best Folk Album and the Best Folk Song from Korea Music Award in 2020 and 2022.
